Samara Dance Company
Abrevaya is the founder and director of the Samara Dance Company.
The word samara is Arabic for “seed of the elm” which is appropriate
since the troupe originated in Elmhurst. Abrevaya also dedicates the
namesake of her troupe to her father, Sam.
This semi-professional dance company performs at different venues, including haflas, fundraisers, theater shows, restaurants, and special events around the Chicagoland area.
