Improve your range and flexibility as we concentrate on isolating the arms, ribcage, and hips. Attention will be placed on linear and circular ribcage and hip movements and will include shimmy drills which will increase in difficulty as we layer movements. |

Exciting, exhilarating, and enjoyable! This spicy drum solo routine will challenge your coordination and refine your isolations. Emphasis will be placed on timing, accents, and syncopated rhythms & movement. |

“Sizzling Shimmies” |
Want to add some sizzle to your shimmy? Learn how to gain more control over your shimmies while you isolate, layer & travel. Learn new types of shimmies including; rotation shimmy, samba shimmy, vibration shimmy, variations of the ¾ shimmy, tilting shimmy, & the Afro shimmy. |
June 7th
“Hip Hips & Stunning Spins” |
Want cool hip movements & stunning spins? The focus at this workshop will be on various layered hip movements that will be used with travel steps & shimmies. We’ll also discover different ways to spin & turn as we concentrate on arm & foot work, level change, & spotting. |
August 2nd
“Veiled Mystique”

Uncover the mystique of the veil through an enchanting routine. Learn veil technique which will include; barrel turns, “forward & backward neck transfers”, one handed veil tricks, & varied turns & spins. Bring a silk veil. |
September 6th
“Alluring Arm Work” |
Learn several arm combinations to incorporate into your dance. Focus will be on arm frames, finger positioning, & smooth shifts between arm transitions. We’ll coordinate these combinations with various travel steps. Explore a fun way to tone your arms! |

“Traveling with Style”

Add panache & finesse to your dance. Learn several travel combinations that you can incorporate into your own routines & discover how they can be used together at this workshop. |
